These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Reel Legends app, website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity under your account. Keep your login details secure. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for all catches and content you submit.
Acceptable use
- Log only genuine catches and submit truthful information.
- Do not manipulate, falsify or tamper with catches, measurements, points or leaderboards.
- Respect other anglers, venues, wildlife and local fishing regulations and permits.
- Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
Catch verification
Catches may be reviewed before points are awarded. We may decline, adjust or remove any catch, entry or account that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or the spirit of fair competition. Our verification decisions are final.
Competitions & prizes
Competitions may have their own specific rules, entry requirements, eligibility criteria and prize details, which are published with each competition and form part of these terms. Prizes are awarded to verified winners in accordance with those rules. Reel Legends may amend, suspend or cancel a competition where reasonably necessary. Participants are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, permits and any tax obligations relating to prizes.
Content you submit
You retain ownership of the photos and content you submit. You grant Reel Legends a licence to host, display and use that content to operate and promote the Service (for example on leaderboards and competition galleries).
Availability & changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features, and may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Liability
Fishing carries inherent risks. You use the Service and fish at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reel Legends is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, venues, or participation in competitions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
